Kyle was born and raised in Crawfordsville, Indiana, and began his exercising his entrepreneurial spirit during his college years by building custom computers for fellow students, known as Indagation Custom Computers. Kyle graduated from Purdue University with a triple major in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, and began his teaching career at Southmont High School, where he spent 10 years teaching Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, and as well as being an active coach on the wrestling team. While teaching, Kyle pursued a Masters of Educational Psychology at Purdue, where he met his wife, Nikki. Shortly after, he began to engineer software by developing Driving Brilliance, an online platform that provides online driver's education. While moving to the East Coast to support Nikki's career, he continued to build DB, resulting in partnerships with over 50 local driving schools today. In addition, he also served as an Educational Technologist at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology before moving back to his hometown of Crawfordsville. Currently, he continues to maintain Driving Brilliance, while serving as co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of TalentLynk, a talent acquistion platform.


Nikki, a California native, has always had a curious passion for technology. Since graduating with a Liberal Arts degree from UC Riverside, Nikki spent the early days of her career exploring a variety of careers, working at companies such as AAA, Elite Educational Institute, and Apple. Finally, she returned to her education roots and pursued a Masters of Digital Teaching and Learning at Azusa Pacific University. With the encouragement of her professors, she continued her passion for learning by earning a PhD at Purdue University in Learning, Design, and Technology, where she met her husband, Kyle. During her studies, Nikki discovered a love for graphic design, utilizing her skills for various departments at Purdue by creating branding, website design, and marking print work. Nikki continued her career in instructional design at Dartmouth College and Harvard University, before moving to corporate learning and development at DataXu and Sapient. While in Boston, Nikki opened her first formal business endeavor, Love Lashworks, an eyelash extension salon. Upon moving back to Crawfordsville, Nikki is pursuing a variety of projects, including freelancing, starting Boots Consulting, and opening Crawfordsville's first pop-up shop, Nimbus.
